Add slideshow generation ability to web page generator What does it mean ? I may generate a web page with box, css with mouseover function and without (real) javascript or other client side code but this is not a slideshow. Maybe you want something like this or this, no ? Also, there is a GPL python script who call ImageMagick, Python Imaging Library, Mplayer, Mencoder for managing some medias (videos, images).
