Som nevnt over er det ni ulike Visninger. I tillegg er det to ulike Visningsmodi. Du kan med en gang se hvilken Visningsmodus du er i. Hvis du ser en kolonne med ikoner til venstre i vinduet er du i Sidestolpemodus. Hvis du ser en rad med "notatblokkfliker" (merket Personer, Slektskap, Familieliste, Stamtavle, Hendelser, Kilder, Steder, Media og Bibliotek) som går vannrett over vinduet Du kan veksle mellom disse to Visningsmodi ved å velge VisSidestolpe fra menyvalget Sidestolpe.
As mentioned above there are ten different Views. In addition, there are two different Viewing Modes. You can tell at a glance which Viewing Mode you are in: If you see icons listed vertically in a sidebar at the left of the window, you are in the Sidebar Viewing Mode.. If instead you see a series of "notebook tabs" (labeled People, Relationships, Family List, Pedigree, Events, Sources, Places, Media, Repositories and Notes) that run horizontally across the window, then you are in the Tabbed Viewing Mode. You can switch from one Viewing Mode to another by selecting ''' View ->Sidebar ''' from the Sidebar menu item. If you're in the Sidebar Viewing Mode, you can select the View you want by clicking one of the sidebar icons. If you're in the Tabbed Viewing Mode, you can select the View you want by clicking the corresponding notebook tabHvis du ikke er i Sidestolpevisning kan du velge Visning ved å klikke på et av ikonene i sidestolpen.
