The Shakespeare database used for the examples below was downloaded from the http://genealogyoflife.com/ website.
Generating a chart of an entire database on very large databases can lead to long chart generation times (See [[NetworkChart#Performance|Performance]]). Of course, subsets can be selected greatly reducing the chart generation times (See [[NetworkChart#Trim|Trim]] and [[NetworkChart#Highlight|Highlight]])
