In my preliminary testing I found one database that opened fine and another which had a BerkeleyDB Environment error, so I advise that anyone who can still use a previous version of Gramps to backup all of his/her databases to Gramps XML 1 as soon as a precaution before trying the Gramps Lion Betapracical.
