ATK problem to the front page
Given the high number of bug reports submitted concerning this issue and the fact that I don't see a fix coming anytime soon it is my opinion that it should be addressed at the front page of the wiki. Regards. --Lcc 18:37, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
:on the main page ! This is a GNOME/Gramps issue, isn't it ? Also, there is a KDE/Gramps know issues page. --Romjerome 20:47, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
::Hello again romjerome, Yes it is a GNOME/Gramps issue but it is a very serious issue: "GRAMPS does not work". There have been numerous bug reports submitted regularly and I can only imagine how many users didn't bother to report it. So I strongly suggest that it be referenced on the main page until the ATK people fix it. Regards. --Lcc 21:06, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
:::Hello Lcc, I am allowed to make changes on the main page but I never did !!! bug report menu/navigation link is warning user with know issues and common problems. True, ATK issue exists, but I use GNOME too and ATK seems not to be enable by default after an installation on some distributions ! In my opinion main page should not warn users on a particular use of Gramps or interaction with a GNOME library. Also, this message needs to be translated (many localized main pages). You could ask to Benny ? Regards. --Reomjerome
