==Forum==

We created a new trial [https://forum.gramps-project.org/ Discourse forum for Gramps] at the end of 2019. This is only a trial, but feel free to have a look or sign up for an account. You can use the forum to ask questions and get help from the Gramps community as well as keeping up to date with the latest development plans.

There are also some independently operated groups on Facebook. The [https://www.facebook.com/groups/21123310825/ I use GRAMPS] group was created by Dan Garnitz in 2009. The [https://www.facebook.com/groups/370692133138445/ GRAMPS for Genealogists] group was created in 2015 by Tom Shaw.
==Mailing lists==
Mailing Lists, also known as MailLists, are (often uncensored & unmoderated) systems of exchanging mass eMail Email messages. The messages from validated subscribers are also archived and made available for searching.
<!--
**The following part is 'too much introductory detail' for this overview level "Contact" page. Storing as a comment as fodder for a future "What is a MailList and how do I use it" page. **
Alternatively, if the Sourceforge site is not available, use the copy of the mailing lists stored on [http://gramps.1791082.n4.nabble.com/ nabble.com]({{man menu|Note that nabble logins are not [http://www.stealmylogin.com/ secure] please only subscribe via the sourceforge mailing list.}}). However, if you want to use nabble to send messages (as opposed to just reading them) then you must have subscribed to the related sourceforge mailing list first.
