You can access the {{man label|Data Entry Gramplet}} by adding it to Dashboard (and then detaching if required) or any of the Category view sidebars.
The {{man label|Data Entry Gramplet }} consist of two separate sections the '''[[Gramps_Glossary#active_person|Active person]]''' and '''New person''' sections.
Both sections share a number of identical data entry fields one of them being the {{man label|Surname, Given:}} entry field which is a combined entry for just the surname and given names, separated by a comma. If you need more fine grained editing on the name (for example, you need to add a suffix or prefix), you can use the Edit icon once a person has been selected as the active person in Person List of Gramps.
